There is a different type of ice cream which has also started to gain popularity in our country recently .It is not exactly true to call ‘’Gelato’’,which is of Italian origin, an ice cream in the classical sense.Italians particularly do not use the word ice cream (translated in English) for their ice cream and call it ‘’Gelato’’.They are not really false to differ it from ice cream and use the word gelato instead of ice cream.Because packaged products sold in grocery stores ,imported ice cream made of additive-free ,richer ingredients and ice cream produced in our country with our own techniques are all called ice cream.
Gelato is a combination of milk, cream, sugar, egg, fruits, fresh and natural ingredients etc.One of the most important characteristics of gelato, which makes it different from other ice cream,is that it is fresh ice cream.Gelato is a product which has a shelf life of a few days.It is made fresh and is consumed when it is fresh.Do not say how it is possible for ice cream to be fresh ,plenty of fresh ingredients in and without preservatives, Gelato stays in the stall between -12 and -16 °F so it has a short shelf life because it is stored in this way.
